Rituals is a collaboration with fibers grad student Devin Boyle.

 

"Rituals are the meat of religions. Religions are the meat of culture. Rituals hold up systems.

 

To construct textiles in terms of rituals means to construct new worlds and new power systems.

 

The goal for the video is to inspire the qualities of fear and intrigue to the physical textiles.

 

Inverting the haptic experience where instead of textiles inviting to touch, make one not want to touch."
